The High Achiever's Guide to Controlling Burnout
Four weeks. Seven minutes a day. A way back to the things you used to enjoy, without stepping away from the life you have built.
Join the Waiting ListBurnout is not what you think it is
Almost everyone assumes burnout comes from working too much. After thirty years of practice and more than a decade of teaching high achievers, I think that is the surface reading, and I think it is wrong.
People burn out because they are doing too little of the things that bring them joy.
That is why cutting your hours rarely fixes it. You end up with more time and the same emptiness. This program does the opposite. It puts the small daily things back, one at a time, and uses meditation to make room for them.
Four weeks, four parts of you
Each week takes one part of you and gives it back its share of the day.
Body
Where the pressure has been living. We start here because the body notices before the mind admits anything, and it is the fastest thing to change.
Mind
The racing, the lists, the 3am rehearsals. Not stopping your thoughts, which does not work, but learning to think with more room around them.
Emotion
The feelings that get postponed because there is no convenient time for them. We make time, and we let them move rather than settle.
Spirit
The part that asks what all of this is for. By week four there is usually enough quiet to hear the question, and to sit with it without rushing.
What a day actually asks of you
One short video and one short meditation. That is the whole commitment.
Why this one burns you out
A short video on the specific thing we are looking at that day, and why it drains high achievers in particular. No theory you cannot use by lunchtime.
Something to do today
A single small action to bring a bit of joy back, or to make one honest pause in the day. Small on purpose. Small is what survives a difficult week.
A meditation to close
A five minute guided meditation to finish, in the Matari Meditation Method. You do not need any previous practice and you do not need to sit still perfectly.
You are allowed to miss days
I want to say this before you join, not after. Three or four days a week is enough. If you miss a day, you have not failed and you do not have to start again.
The people who need this most are exactly the people who will turn it into one more thing they are behind on. So I have built it so that cannot happen.
Lifetime access, so the four weeks are yours to take at whatever pace your year allows.
What you get
one payment, lifetime access
What is included
- Twenty eight days of short videos and guided meditations, yours to keep and to repeat
- One live call each month with me, so you can join any day of the year and still meet me in person
- A private group of people doing the same four weeks, which is the part most people underestimate
- No subscription to cancel. You pay once
This is for you if
- You are good at your work and it has stopped feeling like enough
- You have tried the apps, and the guided meditations that felt shallow, and the advice to simply do less
- You cannot remember the last time you did something for no reason other than that you liked it
- You do not want to step back from your ambition. You want to carry it differently
- You would rather have seven honest minutes a day than a retreat you keep postponing

I did the other thing first
I was a high achieving child with high anxiety, raised by a mother who expected me to be first. At sixteen a physics teacher introduced me to meditation and it changed my life.
At twenty two my parents divorced and I fell into a deep depression. Meditation stayed with me through it. In 2005 I arrived in Germany as a refugee with no language and no network. By 2011 I was named team leader of the year at a financial company.
So I did not come to stillness because I could not do the other thing. I did the other thing first, I was good at it, and then I chose this.
That is the whole reason I can teach high achievers. I am not asking you to give anything up.
After having a goal of integrating meditation into my morning routine for several years, I was able to do it as soon as I started practicing with Nandar. Through meditation, I am finding more clarity in making decisions and sharpening my intuition. I have been working with Nandar for over 2 years now and she is an integral part of my spiritual journey.

What I am not promising you
I have never promised anyone a result, and I am not going to start here. I do not know your life, and anyone who tells you that four weeks will cure something is selling you the wrong thing.
What I am offering is a method I have practiced for thirty years and taught for over a decade, in the smallest daily form I can make it. The word I use is control, not cure. At the end of twenty eight days I want you to be able to say that you know what your burnout is made of and what to do on the days it returns.

The program opens later this year. Put your name down and you will hear from me first, before it goes out to anyone else. There is nothing to pay today and no obligation to buy when it opens.
